Well its January. And I’m a daydreamer. What’s a daydreamer to do in January besides look inward and dream about the potential of the year?
My new years resolution this year (or every year, rather) is to just complete at least half the things I start. I love starting things. Sewing lessons. Whole30. The 4 novels I never finished last year. But I want to challenge myself to actually complete some things. So. I am pledging that I will stick with things longer. Maybe not complete. But stick to.
PLEDGE ONE: BBG. 4 WEEKS Many of you have heard of BBG. The perfectly slender, tan, and beautiful Australian Kayla Itsines created this program with her ex-classical musician boyfriend. I nabbed a copy of the old PDF work out routine along with the eating plans. I’m going to do the vegetarian eating plan because I don’t enjoy diet meat. Like fried chicken? I’m all in. Baked chicken breast? Maybe I could throw myself into the crater of an active volcano. I do, however, enjoy vegetables in many forms. I can get down on some vegetables.
NOW–I am committing to 2 weeks with NO CHEATING. Unless I win the lottery and simply MUST toast with expensive champagne, I am pledging myself to following the diet–which means NO ALCOHOL. My plan of action for filling my ethanol void is to get some bougie-ass tea (not to be confused with bougie ass-tea) and try to be obsessed with that ritual. Until then, my body is my gastronomic playground. And you better believe I’m gonna drink all (ok, a reasonable amount) of the dranks.
I will take my measurements and………….[[[[[my weight]]]]]] for the sake of science. And I will hate it.
Start date for exercise is Monday 1-28. Traveling a lot for work so diet will begin 2-8. End date 2-24.
